I have been employed as a Governess in this house for many years and watched the children grow into young adults. My reputation throughout has been firm but fair, and that has always included the use of corporal punishment.

I have never tolerated bad behaviour and have no intention of doing so now, even though you are no longer a child. Small lapses might warrant a firm—and I do mean firm—hand spanking over the bench, or a dose of the size 10 gym slipper to drive the point home.

For more serious offences, with My background as a former prison officer, I have no hesitation in delivering an eye-watering strapping or caning, exactly as would have been expected in a Victorian household.
